The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.
Former twice world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the novice is still one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
