Assassin's Creed Reveals Unexpected Attack on Titan Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a unexpected collaboration that breaks usual predictions, Ubisoft has announced an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Uncovered
According to the authorized release, "An unusual confrontation leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where rumors of forbidden practices and terrifying changes reverberate through the darkness." The storyline introduces a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a clandestine cult.
The mission focuses on "bizarre experiments and a monstrous foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Transformations
The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Extra Content
Players who finish the adventure will acquire an unique katana together with numerous artifacts concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
- Titan-based attire for Yasuke
- Mikasa outfit for Naoe

Third Free Story Addition
This update also adds the game's third free story episode, titled "The Enigma."
